# docs — repo context

## Purpose
**User-facing product documentation** for Direqt Search, published at
**docs.direqt-search.com**. Built with **MkDocs** + the **Material for MkDocs**
theme. This is the authoritative place for how-to / product docs (not source code).

## Structure
- `docs/` — the published Markdown documentation pages
- `internal/` — internal docs
- `mkdocs.yml` — site configuration (nav, theme)
- Deployed to GitHub Pages via CircleCI on push to `master` (`mkdocs gh-deploy`).

## Note for search
This repo is Markdown/docs only (no application code), so code_search returns few
or no code hits. Use it for **product/user documentation** questions; for
implementation, point at the relevant service repo (search, api, index, …).
