# publicgood.me — repo context

## Purpose
The **original Public Good website** (`publicgood.com`). **Most of this codebase
is deprecated** — the only part still in use is the **"Motorcade"** application.
Treat non-Motorcade code as legacy.

## Structure
- `src/` — the website + the still-active **Motorcade** app

- `config.{dev,staging,production,test}.json` — env configs
- `gulpfile.js`, `Makefile` (`make devserver` → http://localhost:4000), `deploy.sh`

## Search note
Large repo (~54 MB) with lots of legacy/asset/bundled content: of ~8,700 indexed
chunks only ~579 are embeddable code, so semantic search focuses on the real
(mostly Motorcade) source. For current work, prefer **Motorcade**; other areas are deprecated.
